teas — the heritage collection
Five blends inspired by wartime Britain — honouring the strength of workers, the bravery of soldiers, and the comfort found in a simple cup of tea. Packed in authentic WWII-style ration packs (57 g / 2 oz), these teas bring history to life with bold flavour and timeless resilience.
Hereford Home Front
A tribute to the resilience of those who kept Britain going on the home front during WWII. Bold and robust, this black tea delivers stout astringency and deep maltiness — a cup as enduring as the people it honours.

Breakfast Detonator
Named for the small but essential components produced at Rotherwas to arm munitions, detonators that powered everything from grenades to aerial bombs. This Kenya–Assam blend is exceptionally thick, malty, and robust — an explosive start to the day.

The Mayne Brew
Celebrating Lieutenant Colonel Robert Blair “Paddy” Mayne, DSO & Three Bars, founder of the SAS — a fearless soldier and also a lover of poetry. This refined blend combines delicate Earl Grey and jasmine notes with a bright golden liquor, capturing both strength and subtlety.

Canary Girl
A remembrance of the women in WWI’s National Filling Factories, whose dangerous work with TNT turned their skin yellow, earning them the name Canary Girls. This blend balances bold bergamot, sweet maple, and soft vanilla — a tea of strength and sweetness, honouring courage and sacrifice.

The Shell Store
Inspired by ROF Rotherwas (Filling Factory No. 4), one of the largest munitions filling plants in Britain, and its iconic Shell Store building. A full-bodied breakfast tea with jammy character and mellow astringency, echoing the strength and industry of the wartime workforce.
